Background
A native of Bismarck, North Dakota, Dr. Grimes previously worked at Duke Primary Care in North Carolina and then Sanford Health – New York Mills Clinic. She and her husband, Matt, have three children, Caitlin, Rowen and Oliver, and currently reside in Ottertail.
What inspired you to get into medicine?
I wanted to do something that would allow me to help people. I like getting to know my patients and their families.

What do you like to do in your downtime?
Cooking, canning, hiking, lake activities and traveling.
What is one interesting, unique or fun thing that most people may not know about you?
I enjoy reading manga (Japanese comic books).
