ails you, Tri-County Health Care’s Physical therapists have an
established history of helping individuals improve their quality of
life. Because our physical therapists are experts in knowing how the
body works, they are able to design personalized treatment plans to
reduce the risk of injury in everyday activities or sport and teach
people not only how to move freely again, but also how to manage all
four of the body’s major systems – musculoskeletal,
cardiovascular/pulmonary, neuromuscular and integumentary (skin) – to
achieve one’s maximal functional status with long term results for many
conditions that may limit one’s ability to participate in desired
activities in the home, at work or for recreation.
Tri-County Health Care’s Rehabilitation Center provides private
treatment rooms that are spacious and quiet with adjustable lighting.
The gym provides an environment to treat people all ages and diagnoses
with a multi-station strength training station, recumbent bikes/NU-Step,
various aerobic training equipment, balance equipment, and a high
ceiling to allow for simulation of outdoor activities.
Our physical therapists are trusted health care professionals who
work closely with you to evaluate your condition and develop an
effective, personalized plan of care to help you achieve your goals
whether you are living with a condition such as diabetes or multiple
sclerosis or recovering from an amputation, surgery, a fall, or sports
Neurological Conditions – The Rehabilitation Center helps
patients with neurological conditions such as strokes, brain injuries,
Parkinson Disorder, multiple sclerosis and spinal cord injuries.
Orthopedic Therapy – Includes total hip and knee replacements,
Laminectomy, shoulder replacements, compression fractures, carpal
tunnel, foot and ankle injuries and on-site orthotic services.
Amputation Conditions – Tri-County Health Care’s Physical and
Occupational therapists treat patients with upper and lower extremity
amputations and work closely with the patient’s prosthetist to achieve
desired functional outcomes. On-site prosthetic services are provided on
a bi-monthly basis as needed.
Sports Medicine – A complimentary sports medicine consultation
is available for local elementary and high school athletes with a
sports related injury. Patients are provided a free evaluation by a
physical therapist and, if necessary a physician or occupational
therapist. If indicated and with proper consent, our therapists are able
to initiate treatment give them a brace/splint to address the sports
related injury which will be billed to the patient’s insurance. These
treatments would include, but are not limited to, therapeutic exercise,
electrical stimulation, ultrasound, manual therapy, balance and gait
