Memory Loss Support Group
Tri-County Health Care and the National Alzheimer’s Association will host the next Memory Loss Support Group for Caregivers meeting in the Wesley Conference Room, located on the lower level of Tri-County Health Care, starting at 2:30pm.
This support group seeks to show caregivers of individuals diagnosed with Alzheimer’s or other types of dementia that they are not alone. At the group, you will learn new coping skills to better care for and understand your loved ones dealing with memory loss. If you have difficulty talking to family or friends about your feelings, you may find it easier to express yourself in a support group, where you can be honest with others facing similar problems. You may also find hope from meeting others who have experienced and survived the caregiving journey.
The Memory Loss Support Group for Caregivers meets the second Thursday of each month at 2:30 p.m. at TCHC.
Anyone with an interest in understanding more about memory loss is invited to attend. Support group members are not expected to attend every meeting to be part of the group. For more information, call (218) 631-5228.
