What inspired you to get into medicine?
I love helping people, and have a strong interest in science. I like to solve problems and everyday is different with new challenges. I started with my RN but felt I needed more of a challenge, so I continued on with my education.

What is your favorite part about working in the medical field?
I really enjoy doing my absolute best to care for my patients and figure out what they need or how to make them feel better. It is very rewarding!

What can a patient expect when choosing you as their provider?
I always spend time with my patients and encourage them to adopt ways they can live a happy and healthy life. I want them to know they can trust me and have good communication so I can make the best judgment when helping them.

What do you like to do in your downtime?
Most of my downtime is spent with my family. I am married and we have a daughter and 2 sons (I love doing "mom stuff" most of the time!). We like to spend time at the lake and get together with family and friends frequently. I like reading and baking, and enjoy outdoor activities like hiking, traveling, and gardening.

What is one interesting, unique or fun thing that most people may not know about you?
My mother, who is a retired Tri-County Health Care employee, introduced me to my husband, who is also a Tri-County Health Care employee!
