Background:
I'm a native of Willmar, married, and have a daughter. We also have a Newfoundland mix dog and a golden retriever.

What inspired you to get into medicine?
I wanted to positively impact the lives of women and their families. I’m a big believer in preventive health care and want to empower women to achieve a healthy lifestyle at any point in their life.

My husband and I grew up in a rural area and wanted to raise our family in a small community. Tri-County Health Care has a supportive atmosphere and cares about each individual patient. The staff is always friendly, and it feels like working with a second family.

What do you like to do in your downtime?
I love to exercise! Running and yoga are two of my favorite activities. I also enjoy cooking, reading, and getting outside!

What is one interesting, unique or fun thing that most people may not know about you?
I’ve participated in three marathons, and I plan to do more.
