Dawn practiced in Shakopee for 14 years before moving from Jordan to Verndale. She and her husband have three daughters and one son. They also have a farm with horses, dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, and goats.
What inspired you to get into medicine?
To make a difference in the lives of families. I want to empower women to make healthy choices for themselves and their families. I love birth and want to make the journey of pregnancy to birth a joyous event for the family. I love taking care of women and their families and helping them with the care they need from adolescence through menopause.

What is one interesting, unique or fun thing that most people may not know about you?
I traveled to Spain after eighth grade to be a foreign exchange student for the summer.
