What inspired you to get into medicine?

I had some sick family members when I was in high school, and that inspired me to want to help people.

What do you like to do in your downtime?

I love to fish and spend time with my family on the lake. We also spend a lot of time in gyms and ice arenas for our kids in basketball and hockey.

What is one interesting, unique or fun thing that most people may not know about you?

I am a very social person, and communicating with patients is one of the reasons I enjoy being a physician.
