Dr. Waters has 25 years of experience and has settled in the Brainerd Lakes area after previously practicing in Fargo and Minneapolis. He and his wife have five daughters and three grandchildren.
What inspired you to get into medicine?
I had a passion for science, especially while in school. Additionally, shadowing experience in undergraduate college and a football injury really introduced me to this career field.
Why did you choose Astera Health?
I have been doing outreach at Astera Health for years. I enjoy working with the staff and the patients in the area.
What do you like to do in your downtime?
I enjoy tennis, pickleball, water and snow skiing, golf, curling, mountain biking, construction work, and traveling.
What is one interesting, unique or fun thing that most people may not know about you?
I’m an All-American Pole Vaulter.
