Video Visits

Because the health and safety of our patients are top priorities,
Tri-County Health Care is now offering Video Visits. This new way of receiving care connects you with our Tri-County Health Care providers right from the comfort, convenience and safety of your own home.

What are Video Visits?

Video Visits are scheduled appointments with Tri-County Health Care providers to evaluate, diagnose and receive treatment in remote locations using technology (such as a smartphone, tablet or computer). It allows both new and existing patients to access medical expertise safely, efficiently and without the need to travel. Throughout the appointment, you will be able to see, hear and speak to a provider and they will be able to do the same with you.

Disclaimer: Not all visits can be completed through Video Visit. Things such as physical exams, lab orders or other in-clinic follow-up may be excluded. Please talk with your provider.

Tri-County Health Care Video Visits are similar to an in-person office visit, except you see a provider from your own home. Several of the same services are offered through Video Visits, including:

  • Behavioral and Mental Health visits
  • Rehabilitation Services
  • Work comp follow-ups
  • Post-partum (not physical exam)
  • Chronic pain
  • Common cold
  • Allergies
  • Constipation
  • Cough
  • Diarrhea
  • Pink eye
  • Sore throat
  • UTI
  • Fever
  • Flu
  • Headache
  • Nausea
  • Vomiting


Requirements

You will need a smartphone, tablet, or a camera-enabled laptop or desktop computer, microphone and access to high speed internet. Free public internet is available at the Depot and Public Library in Wadena. For exact locations in Verndale, Sebeka, Menahga and Nimrod, click here.

An active MyChart account is necessary in order to complete a Video Visit. If you do not have an account, you can register here, or call 320-240-7897 for help setting up an account. The TCHC hotline for MyChart help is 218-631-5220.

When you have scheduled an appointment with your provider, follow these easy instructions to help ensure a successful Video Visit.
